somewhere over the oil barrel...
In today’s news: petrol prices up by Rs. 4, diesel up by Rs. 2. Why? Because the cost of crude oil has once again passed the $70/barrel mark.
I guess this means more people will use the public transport system. Hurrah! I know it has its faults, but if more people travel by bus, more people will complain about the inadequate facilities and, perhaps, a change might be made.
Or you could car-pool. Save gas and get to spend some time with people you know.
There’s always a silver lining!
Green Tip: Set yourself a no-car limit. It could be the newspaper stall, the bakery, the grocery. It might be a little difficult this season, but there's nothing like splashing in puddles, is there?
